This charming book has bouncy rhymes, and colorful illustrations that are like a breath of Spring. A winner!

Fun Book for Easter

This is a cute book about mice on an Easter egg hunt. The littlest mouse gets so busy playing he forgets to look for eggs, but then there's a surprise at the end. We have a few of these holiday mice books and my two-year-old loves the rhyme and repetition and the spunky little mouse. The illustrations are adorable and create a miniature mouse world where a postage stamp is a picture on the wall, a spool is a table, and a pencil a curtain rod. All in all, a fun book for Easter.

This was a fun book about a little boy who loves to build things especially exciting marble runs for the entertainment of himself, as well as his favorite kitty, who loves to chase the runaway marbles from the marble runs. He is heartbroken when his kitty escapes during a trip to the animal doctor, but thanks to his favorite marble game the kitty comes home safe and sound. This is a fun read for any little person, boy or girl, who loves exciting games, and of course Kitty cats.

Great illustrations, happy ending

I found this to be a cute story that is a quick, easy read-along for younger children. Although the story features a cat as the family pet, it can be an especially fun book for a family that has a close bond with any type of pet. It is beautifully illustrated and features a happy ending. I recommend it and think you'll be happy with your choice on this one. It would make a great gift for the grandkids or anybody in your world with little ones.

My son LOVES this book!!! He LOVES the story. He LOVES the anime style. He LOVES the illustrations of Declan and all the colorful marble runs and the cats. He reads it over and over and over again. It's a very fun book with a wonderful message and a happy ending. I would highly recommend it.

Awesome book. I love it when an author loves their subject and you can tell this author loves this topic. I have been looking into minecraft for some time but really haven't given it much thought. Then I was in Walmart a few weeks back and saw minecraft toys and thought to myself there has to be something to this game. So I jumped onto Amazon and found this book to begin my education.

Fun way to learn to count!

This is a very cute book! It is a great way to teach a young child to count to 10 or help an older child work on number recognition. This book is fun so kids won't even know they are learning! I use this book with my 4 year old and my 6 year old and they both enjoy it!

From the Author
Diane Quintana and I have worked in a booth called Get Organized! at the Decatur Book Festival along with author, Judith Kolberg, for over 5 years. The Decatur Book Festival is huge! For two days we meet the crowds and promote our books and services. It was in 2014 that Judith challenged Diane and me to write a children's organizing book. Many families come to the book festival and she wanted to have a book to offer the parents for the children.
Never one to say no to a challenge, Diane and I started right away. We came up with the basic idea from our experience with our own children, our experiences as teachers, and organizational classes we have taken.
As former educators we wanted to have a repeating phrase in our book to encourage children to engage in the book by reciting that phrase every time it comes up in the story. Our phrase is: What do I do when my mother asks me to pick up my __.
From there we just created the messiest room we could think of without making it a too complicated story.
Writing the text was easy and fun for us. We basically took the same organizing principles we had in both our former books and incorporated them into this book.
We love working together and really had a good time collaborating on this project.

This book was written for parents and children to share. The authors took some basic organizational strategies:

• Break projects down into small manageable steps
• Sort like with like
• Cull collections
• Assign a place or a home for belongings
• Reward for jobs completed

The authors then applied these strategies to the common task of picking up a room.
People are often overwhelmed when given what to them sees like a large project. The first step is to break the project down into small manageable steps.
Study the illustrations. Notice that Benji did not do a perfect job. You will notice that the bookcase is a bit untidy and a sock is hanging out of the laundry basket. Still, Benji did a great job for his age and his efforts are accepted and praised.
We encourage parents to accept the organizing job done by their child so as not to minimize the child's efforts.
There is also a reward for completing the task. As professional organizers, the authors encourage their clients to reward themselves when a project is complete.  Rewarding Benji
shows appreciation for his effort.

About the Author
Diane N. Quintana is a Certified Professional Organizer through NAPO, and a Certified Professional Organizer in Chronic Disorganization through the ICD. She is also a presenter and the author of Flying Solo: A Guide to Organizing Your Home When You Leave Your Parents' Nest and Now What? A Simple Organizing Guide.
Diane is a former elementary school teacher. She is the owner of DNQ Solutions, LLC, a professional organizing company in metro-Atlanta that works with both residential and small business clients. 
Jonda S. Beattie is a professional organizer, presenter and the author of From Vision to Victory: A Workbook For Finding a Simple Path to an Organized Home. She is also a former elementary special education teacher and a former Lead Teacher of Special Education with a Master's Degree in Special Education. She is the owner of Time Space Organization, a consultancy in metro Atlanta that works with both residential and small business clients.
Both Diane and Jonda are active members of NAPO (The National Association of Professional Organizers), NAPO- Georgia, and the ICD (The Institute for Challenging Disorganization).

Lessons for your child and yourself!

I love how the authors take what always seems like an unsurmountable problem for a child and break it down into smaller chunks so that the child finds it easy to comply. Furthermore, the same approach that works for 5-year-old Benji can also be applied to so many other aspects of our lives!

Great book for young boys!

What a great book to show boys ways to better organize their toys. I loved the fun way the author's showed Benji how to do this and the rewards he received for doing a good job. Starting children early in organizing benefits them in their future life. What a great Christmas gift.

It was a very special time of year and the buds began to sprout from Mom’s plant pots. Make sure you water them! There was no more bread to be had, but there was plenty of matzah on the plate. Watch out because the dog is going to sneak a piece! Everyone is working hard cleaning up the kitchen. “Get dustpan and broom, / Help clean every room, / Passover is coming.” It’s time to help Grandpa roll the matzah balls for the soup. Look how nice and round they are!

Grandma is getting the Seder Plate ready for Passover. There are lots of special things on the plate. Do you know what they are. It’s time to practice: “Four Questions to learn. / Can’t wait for our turn. / Passover is coming.” There are lots of things to prepare for, but do you think you can find the afikomen this year? What do you do to get ready for Passover?

Delightful collection of bedtime stories!

David nailed it with this wonderful book. Each of the stories is very well told with twists and turns that keep the kids engaged. I know what it is like to try to put the kids to bed at night and they don't want to hear the same boring stories over and over. You won't have that problem with this book. The stories are unique and the kids just want to hear them over and over. I certainly hope there will be more books by David soon. The best part is that the books are equally good for adults as they are for kids!

Excellent story!

The fiction are wonderful for bedtime stories and charming fiction to be perused resoundingly with loved ones! My small daughter made me read the whole book at once. It was truly full of interesting stories. I read this story for my 8 year old niece and she made me to repeat them more than once similar that the whole fiction is inside my head and still can recite to any kid with newsy sentiment.

A wonderful book if you are too often around the children

A wonderful book if you are too often around the children. Not a single story in this book of Ruiva is boring or tasteless. Believe me, every kid would enjoy every A to Z in the book. I read the story for my 7 year old niece and she made me to repeat them more than once such that the whole story is inside my head and still can recite to any kid with raconteur attitude. Especially the story where Benglam manages to cure a sick beautiful girl, who is to be his wife later, is the one which i found most amusing for children. To be honest, even I myself enjoyed the stories which brought about a spark of kid spirit in me.
So if you are after simple effective and easy-to-grasp children stories then David Ruiva has brought it here for you.
