Bright, bold illustrations and beautiful message

It is no secret I love these mushy gushy books that talk about parents' love for their babies. This book is no exception. Specifically, this book is written from Mama Bunny to her Baby Bunny and goes through all the things she loves about her little one. For example,
"You look so cute in the morning, all snuggled up in bed, as sunbeams shine on you, my little sleepyhead."
The pages are very thick- almost like cardstock and the colors are SO bright and beautiful. The rainbows, green grass, butterflies, sunlight- they make each page just so happy and warm.
It is told in rhyme and is perfect to read cuddled up with your little one. This would be a great gift for a mom-to-be, since she will no doubt love the sweet message. For us, this will be part of the Easter basket this year! (Note: this book isn't about Easter at all- but it does have a "springtime" feel so I thought it would be a good pick)
