This book is AMAZING!!

This book is AMAZING!!! Both my tween (11) daughter and I have read it and we enjoyed it immensely. It is well written, captivating, the story flows beautifully - and the imagery and symbolism are beautiful also. The fight between good and evil is intense - as is the battle to have faith in oneself and to follow your dreams - and to have faith in others, that there is good deep inside. My daughter has taken to referring to the Spiritz and we use it as a discussion tool for reviewing actions and emotions - even sharing it with my younger children, they enjoy the idea of 'good/ spiritz protecting you.
Honestly one of the best books I have read lately - refreshingly original and beautifully told. One of our favs.

Ever since I stumble upon her blog, I was anxiouslly awaiting for Cheyan to come up with a book, mostly for her illustrations. But what a pleasant surprise when she came up with this wonderful story. Well-written and engaging read, as well as beautifully illustrated, Cheyan explains the very basic principle of human cohexistence: that all things that happen to you you bring onto yourself, both good and bad. This book is a reflection of the exceptional human being the author is, with an incredible vision on life, a compassionate heart, and a genuine concern for the upbringing of the next generation of humans. A must read for everybody, regardless of their age!

This is the most adorable story of enlightenment. I laughed, I cried, I learned. My daughter who is 8 years old was really able to get an understanding of Spiritz and self-empowerment via Asha. The way we manifest is described in a creative way for any age to understand and learn from this little girls journey as fictional as it may be..or is it? I resonated with so many things in my real life through this story, it is filled with encouragement & self-realization.

"AMOS AND THE MOON" written & illustrated by Jan B. Balet. Published by AMMO Books. A beautiful reissue edition of this incredible classic. First published in 1948 this book proves the timelessness of a good story. Amos is a clever little boy who finds the moon visiting his room one night & declared it "my moon"! He spends the following day visiting various places around town (the butcher, the baker, etc) trying to find his moon. The illustrations have the most whimsical vintage feel. My daughter and I poured over the beauty of each page. A good book making a great comeback.

As seller stated,the outside of the hardback was not in the greatest condition but the content of the book was what I was interested in.
It did not disappoint. Such a charming story. I'm trying to replace my children's books that I loved while growing up but my mother gave away. Such a gem.

Karen and Itty Bitty live in Lyman, Maine with Karen's husband, Bill, and Itty Bitty's older brother Chris. They have a small farm with horses, Czaro and Tenor,and a handfull of chickens. A gift of wonder!

Charming, simple story of a little dog's exploration in the garden. Lovely photographs coupled with unique observations of the wonder of nature right in Itty Bitty's own backyard. An uncommon choice of descriptions raises this book to a gift for adult and child alike. I want to grab my grandchildren and head off on our own backyard adventure. Perfect for Easter!

FABULOUS!

Wonderfully produced with vibrant colors and endearing characters and illustrations, THE JESUS BIBLE FOR KIDS is terrific. I can just imagine 10 minutes a night with your child or grandchild, how special and 'alive' each story will become. The artwork is terrific, contemporary though warm and friendly. Additionally, the author has carefully crafted each story so that there is one per page spread. Another thing that I like so much, and most important, is that the author stay's true to God's word though keeping the stories understandable for little ones. There are many wonderful storybook Bibles on the market, but this one is probably my favorite. I've included a few photo's of the interior pages. I highly recommend.

I have not seen the inside of this book, but I just wanted to post this here: This is NOT the Jesus Storybook Bible, best-selling Bible stories for kids (and adults!) This looks very similar, so similar in fact that you can't help but feel that it was designed to fool people into ordering it by mistake. The cover art, even the edges of the cover are copycats. Very disappointing to see this kind of marketing. It might be fine inside, but I'm turned off by the blatant marketing cheats. :o(
