About the Author
Dr. Mitchell Mays lives and works with his wife Terri in Northern, California. Together, they maintain a busy mind-body healthcare practice specializing in ‘Body Syndromes’, adrenal fatigue and PTSD. They employ an amazing array of therapeutic tools including medical hypnosis, emotional freedom technique (EFT or Tapping), mind-body coaching, chiropractic, and other proprietary techniques. Dr. Mays’ first book, The Mind Gate Process of Empowerment laid the foundation for his current work. In 2010, following a devastating and disabling head-on car accident, he began, what became a three-year-long quest to find the reasons why or ‘how’ we attract such negative events into our lives. This forced him to look back again at the other traumas he'd experienced. A personal history of 'bone cancer' and heart attack were the highlights, but there were many others. Becoming his passion, Dr. Mays immersed himself into the new and cutting-edge research on the brain and the subconscious mind. It was there he discovered the cause; a sabotage mechanism that lies hidden in our subconscious mind. Very informing

Very informing book! I read many books on how to treat and overcome anxiety and these all books did not work. Then I bought this book and read. I am glad that this time I did not waste my money and time. In this book I learn safe, comfortable, easy and dare I say enjoyable methods that are scientifically proven to work. The author really described here the proven tips that can overcome your anxiety and also given best treatment. So much worth reading and recommending to others!

Thank you Dr. Mitchell, your new book is a page turner. Its hard to stop reading after I started getting involved with chapter after chapter I want to keep reading. Its so informative, with exciting pages, scary pages, and real life advice, I feel many things can help not only myself, wife but 2 yr old son Dylan. So much to learn from your new book I feel the need to read it again to have it really sink in. One of my favorite things about your new book is how you relate things to movies, authors, and famous sayings. It helps me remember more and understand more. I must admit so much in the book feels I need higher education/vocabulary but then I turn the page and its starts to make perfect sense to me. I look forward to going to one of your seminars to hear you speak in person. Thanks again for writing such a life changing, might I say, "experience". A Comprehensive Approach to Healing

This review is being written by Leisa Peterson (under my husband's account) - I enjoyed Dr. Mays initial version of Mind Gate and am pleased to read this revised version. I enjoyed many of Dr. Mays stories about his own personal transformation and I love the exercises he shares, especially The God List which is a beautiful healing practice. If you are interested in discovering alternative ways to heal your mind, body and spirit, you will enjoy reading this heart-filled story of one man's journey to awakening. Thank you Dr. Mays for your devotion to solving the problems many people experience after facing a traumatic event as there are very few opportunities to alleviate the pain once and for all. Your work and personal discoveries are greatly appreciated.
